This course is an overview of the theological areas of soteriology, ecclesiology, and eschatology.

Objectives

By the end of this course the student will:

• Articulate the meaning of key theological terms and concepts.

• Explain the nature and necessity of systematic theology including the significance of theological thinking and interpretation.

• Articulate personal positions on these doctrines within the biblical framework while employing proper theological method.

• Articulate Biblical answers to key theological questions raised by the church and/or the world that pertain to biblical doctrines.

Course Requirements

A. Technical Requirements

B. Academic Requirements

• A score of 70% or higher is required for a successful completion of the course.

• Complete the final exam.

• Term paper:Write a 3 -5 pages paper on the nature of the church or eschatology.
